Ashe County Cheese
Ashe County Cheese is Carolina's oldest cheese plant, producing quality cheese since 1930. We are located in the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains. Ashe County Cheese was started in 1930 by the Kraft Corporation. Kraft helped consolidate several small community cheese plants in the area and provided the means and expertise to produce cheddar daisy wheels for distribution nationwide. We sell over 20 varieties of original Ashe County Cheese as well as our own county butter, homemade fudge and everyone's favorite, fresh cheese curd. We also offer other fine cheeses, locally made wines and a variety of gifts, souvenirs and old fashioned snacks and candies.

A partnership between Creekside Farms, the Newton Family and Rowland Family Farms has led to the opening of the Peachtree Market, a small, farm fresh, local grocery store in downtown Concord at 363 Church St. N. (courtyard of the Old Creamery at Church & Peachtree).
Store Hours: Fri - 4-7, Sat - 4-7, Sun - 1-4, Mon - 4-7
The market carries many of the same great products available through GO Local NC Farms, plus many harder to deliver items and much more, all available on a regular basis without the need to order on-line and wait for the weekly deliveries.
GO Local NC Farms will also offer on-line/pre-ordering for the store to make your shopping experience as convenient as possible, while guaranteeing the availability of the products you want! We will have multiple GO Local NC Farms pickups at the store each week as well!
